1. Agreement
By creating an account or using NextDent (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. What NextDent is
NextDent is a free educational and career-development platform for dental students and early-career dentists. It provides general education, tools, and guidance.
3. Not professional advice
Content on NextDent is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not clinical, legal, financial, or tax advice, and it is not a substitute for your own professional judgment, formal continuing education, or advice from a licensed attorney, accountant, or advisor. Always exercise independent clinical judgment and have contracts reviewed by qualified counsel. You are solely responsible for decisions you make.
4. Your account
You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You may delete your account at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful, harmful, or infringing activity; no attempts to break security or access others’ data; no scraping or reselling the content. Importantly, do not upload protected health information (PHI) or any patient-identifying information. Any clinical images you upload must be de-identified.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant us a limited license to store and display it to operate the Service for you. You’re responsible for what you upload and for ensuring you have the right to share it.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextDent and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the content. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us (which, for the free Service, is zero).
8. Changes & termination
We may update the Service or these Terms; material changes will be noted by the date above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
